Pricing

What a repair usually costs

These are the ranges most of our jobs fall into. Your exact price depends on the fault and the part, and you will always have that figure in writing before anyone starts work. No call-out surcharge, no "while I'm here" extras.

How our pricing works

Diagnosis: KES 1,000

Covers the technician's travel, testing and a written verdict on the fault. Deducted from your bill if you go ahead with the repair.

Quote before work

Parts and labour are quoted separately so you can see what you are paying for. You are free to decline and pay only the diagnosis fee.

{{warrantyMonths}}-month guarantee

Covers both the fitted part and the workmanship. Same fault back inside the period, we return at no charge.

Typical price ranges

All figures in Kenyan shillings and inclusive of labour. Ranges reflect the difference between a simple service and a major component replacement.

Ranges are a guide, updated periodically. Imported and premium brands can sit above these figures where parts have to be ordered in — we tell you that upfront, never after the fact.

Cost factors

What moves the price up or down

The part, not the brand

A drain pump costs what a drain pump costs. Premium brands only get expensive when a part has to be ordered rather than pulled off our van.

How long it has been faulty

A machine run for weeks with a failing bearing usually needs a drum too. Calling early genuinely is cheaper.

Access and installation

Built-in and under-counter units take longer to remove and refit, and that time is reflected in the labour line of the quote.

Original vs equivalent parts

Where an original part is scarce we offer a tested equivalent at a lower price and tell you which one you are getting. Your choice, either way.

Out-of-hours callouts

Standard rates apply during normal hours. Late-night and public-holiday emergency visits carry a surcharge that is agreed before we set off.

Multiple appliances

Two or more appliances in the same visit share one diagnosis fee. Landlords and offices can ask about a maintenance rate.

Want a price for your exact fault?

Send us the appliance, the brand and what it is doing. Most of the time we can give you a realistic figure before the technician even sets off.
